I’m getting many calls and emails about people worrying themselves silly about money at the moment, so I felt inspired to write a few words again.
The fear of not having enough money was one of the biggest challenges in my life that I had to overcome. I still remember vividly that day when I realised I could not move on any single bank account we had; we were up to the limit on everything, the credit cards, the overdraft facilities, both personal and business and I had just £10 left in my purse.
I can even remember what I was wearing and that terrible feeling that came over me, full of fear and dread for the future.
Hopefully you or no one you know is going through this at the moment, but if money is not flowing into your life as you would like it to, the best advice I can give you now is to identify any negative thoughts, statements and beliefs that you have around money.
So often these come from our childhood and perhaps our parents’ negative statements around money that we absorb as our ‘truth’, for example,
“Money doesn’t grow on trees, there is never enough, I can’t afford it, filthy rich” etc etc.
These negative beliefs are what hold us back in life.
Remember, we get more of what we focus on!
Be a ‘rich’ thinker and focus on the abundance that you do have in your life and don’t be a ‘poor’ thinker and focus on all that is lacking right now!
Taking control of my thinking and not letting my thoughts and fear about the future get out of hand was without doubt the key to my success.
I shall be in Manchester on 13th November with my new wealth breakthrough workshop and will be sharing all sorts of techniques on how to retrain your thinking around money and how to dissolve that awful feeling of fear! For more information please click here
If you are unable to attend and are caught in that dreadful fear state, please let me know and I shall send you a very powerful technique you can do on yourself.
